SebaConnect Charity was formed to connect the Ethiopian Diaspora and or any indvidual living in Ethiopia or abroad with a project owner who is in need to be supported mainly focusing on children, youth and women in need and vulnerable. Approximately 70% of the Ethiopian population currently are under 30 years old.
Ethiopian youth need to refocus their energy and time to become productive citizens. Currently we have several job seekers but limited job creators. Opportunities are very limited outside agriculture. We believe there is untapped potential and by creating a platform and extending a hand, the next generation could get a leg up to support their family & community by self-sustaining and contributing to their country.
Ethiopians in the Diaspora community will have a fully transparent and accountable way of contributing for specific causes. We keep hearing from friends and family, "What can I personally do to contribute to my country?"
To answer this question, we have created a platform that will bridge the gap and provide full transparency to the donor community and also add a layer of project management to make project seekers accountable in executing the project they are seeking donation for. The donor community will get periodic updates through our platform and get status and milestones.
