Report on the Successful Implementation of the Deder High School Library Support Project

1. Introduction 

This report outlines the successful implementation of the fundraising project aimed at supporting Deder High School’s library, organized by Sebaconnect Charity with the help of our donors like you. The goal of the project was to enhance the educational resources available to students at the school by providing books and computers. 

2. Project Objectives

The primary objectives of this project were:

• To provide much-needed academic resources for Grades 9 to 12 students at Deder High School.
• To equip the school with digital resources for improved learning opportunities.

3. Key Deliverables

The following deliverables were successfully achieved:

1. Books Purchased and Delivered
• 169 books covering various subjects for Grades 9 to 12 were purchased and delivered to the school library.
2. Computers Purchased and Delivered
• Two desktop computers were purchased and delivered to the school to assist students in digital literacy and research.
3. Gift Donation
• An additional 23 books were donated as a gift to further support the school’s educational needs.

The Director of Deder High School was present in person to receive these items, ensuring a smooth handover of all resources.

4. Impact of the Project

The successful delivery of books and computers will have a significant impact on the students at Deder High School. These resources will:

• Improve access to up-to-date educational materials for students in Grades 9 to 12.
• Enhance students' learning experiences and improve their academic performance.
• Foster digital literacy by providing access to computers, which are essential for modern learning and research.
• Support teachers in delivering more comprehensive educational content and tools to their students.

These contributions will not only benefit the current students but also have a lasting impact on future generations of learners at Deder High School.

5. Budget and Financials

Sebaconnect covered all transportation and handling expenses to ensure the safe delivery of the books and computers to Deder High School. Aster Nega Publishing Enterprise provided the most competitive pricing among three bidders following a competitive procurement process initiated by Sebaconnect.

Desktops Delivery

We successfuly bought two used Dell Tower GX 790Intel Processer Core i%2.4 GhZ Desktop for Deder High School together with the books. The desktops have  all necessary softwares installed.
