Mahelet Abayeneh is a 9 years old girl and grade 3 student. Her mother's name is Fekerete Jemale. Currently Mahelet is not attending class because of her serious illness associated with her nerve system; she is repeatedly falling down because of her sickness. Fekerete used to do various jobs like washing clothes, baking injera and the likes door to door to support her family. But because of Mahelete’s sickness, she is not currently working since she has to be with her daughter to take care of her. The father of Mahelet is physically and mentally ill person and he is not supporting the family at all. The family is living in small kebele house.

This funding request is to cover the cost of food & medical service, clothing, and sanitation of Mahlet for one year.
