Kalkidan Assefa is 11 years old girl and Grade 3 student. Her mother's name is Mame Engeda. She is a single mother taking care of Kalkidan and her older sister alone by doing daily labor jobs. The father of the children is not living with them as well as is not supporting his children at all. The mother don’t have her own house; she is living in rented house that will take most of her income.
Kalkidan has a problem on her eyes that needs close follow up and medical treatment. In addition she is not getting adequate food, clothing and educational supports since her mother income is very low.
